Employer reimbursement tracking is available on the Personal plan and all higher plans. If you’re on the Free plan, you’ll need to upgrade to use this feature. See compare plans.
Why this matters
Your dashboard spend totals are most useful when they represent your actual out-of-pocket costs. Without recording reimbursements, your monthly and yearly estimates include charges you’ll be paid back for — making your numbers less meaningful for personal budgeting. How to record a reimbursement
1
Open the subscription for editing
From your dashboard, find the subscription your employer reimburses, open its action menu, and choose Edit Details.
2
Expand Employer reimbursement
On the form, click the Employer reimbursement section to expand it.
3
Enter the employer and amount
Enter your employer’s name and the dollar amount they cover.
4
Save your changes
Click Save. The subscription stays in your list, and your spend totals drop by the reimbursed amount.
Each subscription can have one employer reimbursement. You can record reimbursements on as many subscriptions as you like.
What changes in your dashboard
After recording a reimbursement:- The subscription stays visible in your dashboard list, with the reimbursed amount shown on the Employer reimbursement section of its edit form.
- Your monthly spend total and yearly estimate drop by the reimbursed amount — not necessarily by the subscription’s full cost.
- On the Business plan, reports show the full cost, the offset, and your effective cost as separate columns.
