SubLedger is designed to get you up and running quickly. By the end of this guide, you’ll have a free account, at least one subscription on your dashboard, and renewal reminders active so you’re always notified before you’re charged.
No credit card is required to create a free account. The free tier supports up to 10 subscriptions with renewal reminders and dashboard summaries included.
1

Create your free account

Go to app.mysubledger.com and click Sign up free. Enter your email address and choose a password, then confirm your email using the link SubLedger sends you.
Use the email address you want to receive renewal reminder notifications on — you can always update it later in your account settings.
2

Add your first subscription

From the dashboard, click Add subscription. Fill in the details:
  • Name — the service you’re being charged for (e.g., “Netflix”, “Figma”)
  • Amount — the amount you’re charged each billing cycle
  • Billing cycle — monthly or yearly
  • Next renewal date — when your next charge is due
Click Save to add the subscription to your dashboard.
3

Enable renewal reminders

SubLedger activates renewal reminders by default for each subscription you add. You’ll receive an email notification before each renewal date so you have time to review or cancel if needed. To adjust the reminder lead time, open the subscription detail view and select your preferred notice period from the Remind me dropdown.
4

Review your spend summary

After adding your subscriptions, your dashboard displays a monthly and yearly spend estimate. Check the Summary panel to see your total recurring costs at a glance.
SubLedger calculates your yearly estimate by annualizing monthly subscriptions and combining them with any yearly plans you’ve entered directly.

What’s next

Now that you’ve added your first subscription, here are a few things worth exploring:

Add more subscriptions

You can track up to 10 subscriptions on the free tier.
