# Create a free SubLedger account — no card needed

> Learn how to sign up for SubLedger for free, confirm your email, and access your dashboard to start tracking subscriptions immediately.

Creating a SubLedger account takes less than two minutes and requires only your email address. The free tier gives you immediate access to the dashboard, renewal reminders, and spend summaries — with no credit card required and no trial period to worry about.

  <Step title="Go to the sign-up page">
    Open [app.mysubledger.com](https://app.mysubledger.com) in your browser. Click **Sign up free** on the landing page.

  <Step title="Choose how to sign up">
    You have two options:

    * **Email and password** — enter your email address and create a password (at least 8 characters).
    * **Google** — click **Continue with Google** to sign up using your Google account. SubLedger creates your account using the name and email from your Google profile.

    <Tip>
      Use the email address where you want to receive renewal reminders. SubLedger sends notifications to this address by default — whether you sign up with email or Google.

  <Step title="Confirm your email address">
    SubLedger sends a confirmation email to the address you provided. Open the email and click **Confirm my account** to activate your account.

    <Note>
      If you don't see the confirmation email within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder. You can request a new confirmation email from the sign-up page.

  <Step title="Access your dashboard">
    After confirming your email, you're redirected to your SubLedger dashboard. From here you can add your first subscription, review your spend summary, and configure reminder preferences.
