# Grant bookkeeper access to your SubLedger account

> Invite a bookkeeper or accountant to view and manage your subscription data directly in SubLedger — no need to export and share files manually.

Bookkeeper access lets you invite a bookkeeper, accountant, or trusted teammate to view and work with your subscription data inside SubLedger. Instead of exporting reports and sending them manually, your bookkeeper signs into their own SubLedger account and sees your subscriptions directly.

<Info>
  Bookkeeper access is available on the **Business plan** (\$50/month). If you're on a different plan, see [compare plans](/getting-started/billing/compare-plans) for details.
</Info>

## How to invite a bookkeeper

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open your profile">
    Sign in at [app.mysubledger.com](https://app.mysubledger.com) and navigate to your **Profile** page.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Find the Bookkeeper Access section">
    Scroll to the **Bookkeeper Access** card on your profile page.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter their email and send the invite">
    Type your bookkeeper's email address in the invite field and click **Send invite**. SubLedger sends them an email with a link to accept the invitation.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Note>
  Sending a new invitation automatically revokes any previous active invitation. Only one bookkeeper can have access at a time.
</Note>

## What happens when your bookkeeper accepts

Your bookkeeper clicks the invitation link in their email. If they don't already have a SubLedger account, they'll need to create one first — the invitation resumes automatically after they sign in.

The invitation is tied to the email address it was sent to. Your bookkeeper must sign in with that same email address to accept.

Once accepted, your bookkeeper's dashboard shows your subscription data instead of their own. A banner at the top of their screen confirms they're managing your account.

## What your bookkeeper can do

Your bookkeeper has access to your subscription list, spend summaries, and reports. They can view and edit your subscriptions, but they cannot:

* Delete your SubLedger account
* Change your plan or billing details
* Invite additional bookkeepers

## How to revoke access

If you need to remove your bookkeeper's access, go to the **Bookkeeper Access** section on your profile page and click **Revoke** next to their email address. Access is removed immediately.

<Warning>
  If you downgrade from the Business plan, bookkeeper access is disabled automatically. Your bookkeeper will no longer be able to view your data until you upgrade again.
